Wasp Geyser in the Garden…
Thursday, November 13th, 2008Just posted up my latest video on Youtube of the underground wasp nest seen last year in friends garden. I had lost sight of where I had saved the videos.
Was prompted to look for them as I re-visited my friends and the place again last Sunday. All is calm and quiet - the nest apparently destroyed by a spray treatment because it was not quite three metres from the front door.
As much as I do have sympathy and perhaps misplaced adoration for my solitary bees, at the same time I know that wasps and humans generally don’t mix in proximity - nor is it practically possible to gently encourage a wasp swarm to move on. Has anyone benignly achieved this?
